Belated Happy 19th birthday to Henry Moodie, the UK’s hottest popstar! He just dropped his third single eighteen last April 7, and it’s a bop!
It’s about growing up and feeling stuck between being a kid and an adult. It’s super catchy and honest, and you can tell Henry has a talent for writing songs that hit you in the feels. Plus, the music is upbeat and fun, perfect for singing along with your friends.
Henry has been killing it with his previous singles too. His second one, drunk text, got over 15 million streams in two months. And his first one, you were there for me, which he made all by himself in his bedroom, blew up with more than 52 million streams on Spotify and made it to the charts in 13 countries.
Henry is also touring right now with Mimi Webb and he’s going to do his own sold-out shows in the UK soon. He’s even playing at the O2 Academy in Islington in June. That’s huge!
Henry is definitely one to watch this year. He’s making pop music that’s fresh and relatable, and he’s doing it his way.

Henry Moodie says: “The song is all about the transition of becoming an adult and the complicated emotions that come with it. The responsibility, the pressure to decide what you want to do with your life, it can be a lot. So many go through this and will relate to the feeling. I want people to know they’re not alone.
“Releasing eighteen on my 19th birthday feels like the perfect closure. I’ve really learnt a lot about myself this past year and it’s almost like I’m setting this feeling free now I’m a year older!”
Henry is only 19, but he’s already a pop star with a big heart and amazing lyrics. He’s got fans all over the world who love his songs and stream them like crazy. He’s got more than 100 million streams so far.
Henry joined Sony Music’s Columbia Records and Robots & Humans last August. He’s been working hard on his first EP with some of the best producers in the business, like TMS, ALDAE and Solly. He’s ready to take his music to the next level and show everyone what he can do.
