JP Saxe Makes a Bold Move with “I Don’t Miss You” from His Upcoming Album

Get ready for some fresh tunes from JP Saxe, the multi-talented artist who earned a GRAMMY® nomination for his hit song “If The World Was Ending”.

His new single, “I Don’t Miss You”, is out now and it’s a banger. The song is co-written and co-played by John Mayer and produced by Malay, who has worked with legends like Frank Ocean and Lorde.

“I Don’t Miss You” explores how we cope with heartbreak by escaping into different ‘rooms’, such as Social Media, Work, Drugs/Alcohol, Numbness/Sleep, and Sex. Can you relate?

“‘I Don’t Miss You’ is me trying to lie to myself about my feelings — how I distract myself from them, how I compartmentalize them, and how I ultimately lose to them. It was produced by Malay and features the brilliant guitar playing of my friend John Mayer.

My guiding principle in my songwriting is ‘am I’m telling the truth’, so a song that’s lying to itself may seem a tad antithetical, but the truth is, trying to hide from how I feel about people is a common and futile adventure inside my head, and I’m excited for this song to bring people into that with me.” JP stated.

Saxe has been on a roll since last September, dropping three amazing singles: “When You Think Of Me”, “The Good Parts,” and “Moderación (Con Camilo)”.

The last one is a duet with Camilo, the Colombian superstar who has won five Latin GRAMMYs® and got two GRAMMY® nods.

Billboard called it a “sweet and spiritual bilingual ballad.” Saxe also rocked the Today Show with a performance of “The Good Parts” in January.

Saxe is back on the road with John Mayer for his Solo Acoustic Arena Tour this fall. He wowed the crowds on the east coast earlier this year, playing at legendary venues like Madison Square Garden.

He will kick off the tour again at the same spot in New York City on October 3rd, and wrap it up at the stunning Kia Forum in Los Angeles in November. Don’t miss this chance to see him live!
